How Pin-ups Got The Figure

So how did pin-up girls get those perfect hourglass figures and ultra-tiny waists? With the use of corsets, through what is known as waist training; using steal boned corsets to modify the shape of ones figure over time. It’s hard to believe that it’s still practiced today and very popular. One of pin-up history’s most famous hourglass figures was Betty Brosmer measuring in at 38-18-36 (inches). She became the highest paid pin-up girl in the United States in the 1950’s. (1)
