So we all know that we're going to overindulge this holiday season, but what if we told you that there is a way to still keep your skin glowing while indulging in your favorite holiday dishes? There absolutely is and it's eating smart! This means making sure that most things on your plate have some nutritional value (we'll overlook all of that pumpkin pie!) . Having an assortment of fruits and veggies on your plate is key. We encourage you to load up your plates with every color of the rainbow (sweet potatoes, cranberries, kale, pomegranates, spinach, and arugula.) We also need to remember that it's important to eat every few hours to keep our metabolism up and avoid inhaling the entire thanksgiving buffet because we're starved. Nuts and Veggies are great options in between meals to keep you full & get in your omega-3's to keep your hair, skin, and nails shining. Drinking water can keep skin radiant and help with portion control. If you're looking for a nip this holiday always choose red wine, it has heart-healthy qualities and will only put you out about 120 cals. Everyone young girl that the secret to a fresh face in the morning is a good nights sleep, so let's not forget one of the most important lessons that our mothers taught us ladies! 2--Keep on snacking: Even though we may feel that we need a little pre-thanksgiving meal fast it's important to keep your metabolism up! The best snacks for glowing skin are fruits, veggies, and nuts. It's an easy way to get in your protein & omega-3's.

3--Stay Hydrated: Keeping yourself in hydrated is huge during the holiday when the vino is flowing! This not only will keep you feeling good, but it will keep your skin from getting overly dry and showing wrinkles.

4--Beauty Sleep: Yes I said it, those Zzz's are your best friend when it comes to looking your best. When you can get between 7-8 hours you will be looking and feeling your best!
